Golden Artist Colors GEL EXTRA-HVY (GLOSS) 8OZ

is an acrylic gel medium used to add significant texture, increase body, and enhance the transparency and sheen of acrylic paints. It is the thickest of the Golden gels and is commonly used for impasto techniques and mixed media applications. 

• Consistency: The gel has a very thick, stiff consistency, thicker than Golden Heavy Body Acrylic paints, and is excellent for holding peaks and brush or tool marks.
• Appearance: It is opaque when wet but dries to a translucent, high-gloss finish.
• Composition & Durability: Composed of 100% acrylic polymer emulsion, it dries to a flexible film with excellent water, chemical, and UV resistance.
• Usage: It can be blended with colors to increase body, create glazes, extend paint, and change the finish. It also functions as an excellent adhesive for collage and mixed media work.
