NITRAM Baton - Set of 1 Baton (Charcoal Stick Holder) + 5 Mignonettes (Soft Charcoal Sticks)

NITRAM Bâton is a unique charcoal drawing device. It is designed to hold the NITRAM Mignonette, a thin 4 mm square charcoal stick. The Baton is 20 cm (8”) Long. Each Baton comes with 5 Mignonettes. These Mignonettes are Extra Soft (B+) Charcoal Sticks for dark notes & shading. The charcoal itself is dark & velvety smooth. The Mignonettes are approximately 4 mm squares & are 15 cm long (3/16” square x 6” Long). NITRAM Charcoal is widely considered to be the finest charcoal for drawing by professional artists, academies & ateliers.

These charcoal sticks can be sharpened to a very sharp point using the NITRAM Sharpening Bloc.
